Bio

I am Skopi Vasiliki, I studied design and manufacture of handmade jewelry at MOKUME Art Studies in Thessaloniki. For me, everything translates into jewelry, the personal contact with people, the personal style of each individual, the walk in nature, the music, the travels.

My materials are paper and pencil for designing and all the metals but also the materials that I can fit into the style of each individual piece of jewelry. I love jewelry because every day I discover the best version of myself.

I have been awarded 1st prize in an international handmade jewelry design and manufacturing competition in 2011 held in Vigo, Spain with the theme “200 years of Vigo”. In 2012 I got a scholarship to the School of Silver and Goldsmithing “Escuela De Jogeria Del Atlantico” in Vigo, Spain. I have presented my work in group exhibitions in Thessaloniki, Nicosia and Ioannina. I participated in the TIF of Thessaloniki with the theme: “Glimpses of Tomorrow”, “With an eye on Greece” and in charity Bazzars organized by the MOKUME Art Studies. I have also worked as a silversmithing instructor in Ioannina, Nicosia and Thessaloniki. I collaborate with the Silversmithing Museum of Ioannina by giving seminars to adults and children.
